We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we collect

• At registration: VAT number, company name, Trade Register no. (verified automatically), first name, last name, phone, email.
• With a quote request: name, email, phone, VAT number and the message sent.
• When subscribing to the newsletter: the moment of consent and the exact text shown at that time.
• Technical: a session cookie required for login.

Business verification

At registration we query the public ANAF service (the Romanian tax authority, webservicesp.anaf.ro) with the VAT number you enter, to confirm the company is real and active. We do not send any personal data of individuals to ANAF in this process: only the VAT number.

Purpose and legal basis

• Creating the business account and granting access to prices — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Processing quote requests and the related commercial communication — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Sending the newsletter with new lots and prices — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Keeping a record of quote requests per lot, so we know what stock to bring in — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). When you tap «Request a quote», we store the lot, date and time. If you are logged in, we also store the company name, so we can pick the conversation back up. If you are not logged in, we store nothing that identifies you: no IP address, no tracking cookie, only the fact that the lot was requested.
• Issuing and keeping financial and accounting documents — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Measuring traffic and advertising campaigns — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given from the cookie banner and revocable at any time from «Cookie settings» in the page footer. These tools do not load at all before your consent.

How long we keep data

• The business account: for as long as the account exists and 3 years after the last activity.
• The record of quote requests per lot: 24 months, so we can compare seasons against each other.
• Quote requests: 3 years from submission.
• Newsletter subscription data: until you unsubscribe, plus 3 years, as proof of consent.
• Accounting documents: 10 years, as required by tax law.

Who else has access

We do not sell or rent your data. We make it available only to the suppliers who help us run the site, acting as our data processors:

• The hosting provider — storing the site and the database.
• The email provider — sending notifications and the newsletter.
• The couriers — only the data needed to deliver the order.
• Accounting — for the financial documents.

The contact page includes a Google Maps map loaded from Google's servers. When you open that page, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies, in accordance with its privacy policy. The rest of the site works without this element.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent for marketing. You can exercise them by writing to office@stockhouse.ro; we reply within 30 days at most.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28–30, sector 1, Bucharest, dataprotection.ro.
